U-Lift Forklift Rental Policies
Customer Responsibility
- The customer is responsible for the proper and safe use of the forklift throughout the rental period. This includes ensuring that operators are fully trained and have the necessary certifications to operate the equipment.
- Any damage or malfunction resulting from improper use of the forklift will be the customer’s responsibility and must be covered by the customer.
Inspection and Maintenance
- U-Lift guarantees that all forklifts are delivered in optimal working condition, having undergone rigorous inspections.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the forklift upon delivery and report any damage or issues before use begins. If no issues are reported at the time of delivery, it will be assumed that the equipment was received in good condition.
- Any mechanical issues arising during the rental period that are not due to improper use must be reported to U-Lift immediately.
Insurance and Damage Coverage
- It is the customer’s responsibility to have adequate insurance that covers any damage to the equipment, as well as any liability that may arise from the use of the forklift during the rental period.
- U-Lift offers the option to purchase additional insurance coverage through our providers. This insurance will cover equipment damage and liability during the rental period.
